Olivia Rose is a New York City artist and the founder of Original Rose, an experiential studio working across live customization, laser engraving, on-site embroidery, botanical practice, and historical walks.
Olivia Rose founded the studio as Bodega Rose and renamed it Original Rose. Under her direction the studio has produced work for Nike, Target, Wise, Gucci, UGG, Fenty, Spotify, Kith, Levi's, The North Face, Timberland, Google, and Bape. Her botanical work includes the living moss costume worn by SZA on the cover of Rolling Stone.
Her live customization events run at scale: three heat press bars in Times Square for Wise's IPO celebration at the Nasdaq MarketSite, a World Cup takeover for Levi's, and engraving, embroidery, and patch stations for brands across New York City and worldwide. Her studio practice extends to product collaborations, including planters with Kith and Bape, botanical installations, laser-engraved produce, and self-published zines. She leads plant walks and historical walks through New York City parks under the studio's Arboreal Historical Society.
