Food & Fruit Engraving NYC
We engrave logos, names, and artwork directly onto food and fruit. Lemons, pears, apples, bananas, and pumpkins become place cards, table settings, and gifts.
Each piece is marked on the surface of the fruit itself, with no ink and no stickers. Artwork is tested on the actual produce before your event. Produced in our New York studio and delivered, or engraved live in front of your guests.

FAQ
What is food engraving?
Food engraving uses a laser to mark names, logos, and artwork directly onto the surface of food. The mark is permanent and made without ink or dye. Original Rose produces food engraving in New York City for events, gifting, and editorial work.
What is an engraved fruit place card?
A piece of fruit engraved with a guest's name and set at their seat. It replaces a paper place card and doubles as a favor guests take home.
What foods can be engraved?
Lemons, pears, apples, oranges, bananas, pumpkins, and coconuts all engrave well. Firm, smooth surfaces give the cleanest mark. Send what you have in mind and we will test it.
Is engraved fruit safe to handle and eat?
The laser marks the outer skin only. On thick-skinned fruit like lemons, oranges, and pumpkins the flesh underneath is untouched. Pieces meant for eating are discussed per project.
How far in advance is the fruit engraved?
Produce is sourced fresh and engraved one to two days before the event so it looks its best on the table.
Can you engrave live at the event?
Yes. Live food engraving works as a station at dinners and activations. Each piece takes seconds, and guests watch it happen.
How many pieces can you produce?
Anything from a single dinner table to several hundred pieces. Each engraving takes seconds. Sourcing and handling set the timeline.
Do you deliver?
Yes. Finished pieces are packed and delivered anywhere in New York City. Travel and shipping beyond NYC are arranged per project.
What types of events use food engraving?
Brand dinners, product launches, press events, corporate gifting, weddings, and seasonal activations.
What does it cost?
Depends on the produce, the artwork, the quantity, and whether it is studio-produced or live. Send details through the booking page for a quote.
