Runway Planters

For Gypsy Sport’s Spring/Summer 2018 runway show, a series of functional soccer ball planters were designed and produced as part of the collection’s presentation. The planters appeared on the runway alongside the garments, carried by models as sculptural objects that merged sport, utility, and living material. The pieces referenced both athletic iconography and domestic planting vessels, extending the brand’s ongoing dialogue around performance, culture, and subversion of traditional sportswear codes.
